Efford’s Hunting Adventures also operates a commercial air service; Clarenville Aviation Limited. We operate a De Havilland Beaver and a late model 1980 float equipped Cessna A185-F Skywagon II. All three camps are remote fly-in as well as the two satellite camps. All hunters, employees, supplies, meat, etc. are flown back with our float equipped aircraft. Having our own aircraft enables us to have better access to our facilities preventing hours or days waiting for an aircraft to lift you in our out. Clarenville Aviation Limited also provides air services to various other outfitters throughout Newfoundland. Note that we make sure our hunters are looked after first.
All floatplane operations are conducted on visual flight rules. We are not responsible for accommodations made necessary by delays due to poor flying weather. Your rate will not be reduced if for any reason your arrival is delayed to Newfoundland or if poor weather prevents flying to camps. At the same token you will not be charged for extra time spent at camps due to inclement weather.
